USHIRO
Privacy Policy
Effective: November 6, 2026
Ushiro ("the app") is made by Yu Sato. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: your photos, videos and camera feed stay on your device, and we do not collect personal data.
Camera, microphone and photos
- Camera: used to show the live preview and to find people and objects so text can go behind them. All processing (cutouts, depth, effects) happens on your device. The camera feed is never sent to us or to anyone else.
- Microphone: used only to record sound when you record a video. Audio is saved with the video on your device.
- Photos: the app asks to add the photos and videos you make to your photo library. When you choose a photo or video to edit, iOS gives the app only the item you picked.
Data we collect
None. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not sell or share data, because we do not have it.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.
Your settings
You can turn camera, microphone and photo access on or off at any time in iOS Settings > Ushiro.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
